Celotech Ruico wetting and emulsifying surfactants provide efficient surface wetting. We aim to help you improve pigment dispersion and enhance substrate penetration.
It’s a nonionic surfactant with excellent hydrophilicity. This emulsifier can improve pigment wetting, emulsion stability, and color development in waterborne coatings and polymerization systems.
It’s a high-compatibility wetting agent designed for latex paint systems. This agent provides improved substrate wetting, electrolyte stability, and reduced color floating and mottling.
Penetrant Wetting Agents Properties
Penetrant Wetting Agents work more than wetting, they also have the property of partial penetration into porous surfaces.

They are able to reduce surface tension in waterborne systems rapidly. Thus, the coatings and additives can spread quickly and uniformly on substrates, improving initial wetting efficiency.

The surfactants have effective penetration into porous surfaces such as cement, wood, and mineral substrates. They enhance anchoring and long-term adhesion performance.

The agents enhance pigment dispersion and compatibility in coating systems. Using them, you will get fewer defects such as floating color, mottling, and poor color development.

Penetrant wetting agents can provide excellent stability in waterborne systems. They maintain consistent performance under different pH, electrolyte, and processing conditions while ensuring formulation balance.
Penetrant Wetting Agent Applications

Penetrant wetting agents can improve the wetting of pigments and fillers in water-based paint, including latex paint systems. The agents help the formulation spread more evenly during application. Reducing surface tension, they enable the coating to flow smoothly on different substrates without obvious defects. Besides wetting, they support better leveling and a more uniform film, which contributes to a consistent appearance after drying.

Penetrant wetting agents are excellent, especially on metal and plastic substrates with low surface energy. They help the coating system achieve faster and more complete surface wetting. With initial spreading improved, they can reduce typical application issues such as poor coverage or localized dewetting. As a result, the agents help form an even coating film and maintain stable performance in demanding industrial environments.

This type of wetting agent can also enhance penetration into porous wood structures, wetting more effectively from the beginning. They reduce uneven absorption between earlywood and latewood, which often leads to a patchy appearance. Finally, you can get a more consistent coating film with improved surface smoothness and visual uniformity.

In cement slurries and grouts, this surfactant promotes better wetting of cement particles in the aqueous phase. Besides improving the overall dispersion and flow behavior of the system, it also supports penetration into fine gaps and porous substrates, helping the material fill voids more efficiently. Applying it, you can get more stable application performance and a more uniform hardened structure.

The penetrant wetting agents can improve the wetting and distribution of liquid additives within the cementitious matrix. This helps reduce localized concentration differences and supports more consistent mixing performance. At the same time, they contribute to smoother flow behavior and better interaction between components during application.

Penetrant wetting agents enhance pigment wetting and help reduce surface tension in water-based ink. This allows the ink to spread more efficiently on printing substrates and improves interaction between the ink and the surface. Whether on paper, film, or coated materials, they can promote fast and uniform wetting even under high-speed printing conditions.
Packaging and Storage
The regular packaging options are 25kg per barrel and 200kg per barrel. And customization is also available.
Store the liquid chemicals in a dark warehouse, the best temperature is 5~35°C. The shelf life is 12 months after production date.
