RT4170 works as an APEO-free auxiliary emulsifier for emulsion polymerization, delivering reliable wetting, emulsification, and cold-water solubility. It helps improve shear, temperature, electrolyte, and freeze-thaw stability, making polymer emulsions more robust during processing and storage.
In latex paint, RT4170 promotes fast pigment and filler wetting, better color development, and improved gloss and coating fullness. Its compatibility with water-based emulsions helps reduce floating color and mottling, while its low-foam profile supports smoother application and a more uniform film.

Package and Storage
RT4170 High-Wetting Emulsifier
The wetting agents are usually packed in 25kg/bucket and 200kg/bucket. You can also customize the packaging. To maintain good performance, we suggest that you store the additives in a dark and dry place, kept sealed at 5°C to 35°C.
The wetting agents are valid for 12 months from the date of production.
