Engineered Polymer Structure for Reliable Performance
During drying process, the polymer particles coalesce to form a dense, continuous film that bonds strongly to cement and mineral substrates. The film structure helps enhance adhesion, water resistance, and long-term durability. That’s why acrylic copolymer emulsions are widely used in coatings, cement mortars, tile adhesives, and waterproofing systems.
Types of Acrylic Copolymer Emulsion
Celotech Ruico develops and manufactures the following two types of acrylic copolymer emulsions for various applications.
Composition: Styrene + Acrylic copolymer
Application: General-purpose, exterior wall and Interior wall coatings
Property: High cost-performance ratio
Composition: Acrylic + Acrylate copolymer
Application: Especially for high-end exterior walls
Advantages: High weather resistance, strong UV resistance.
Why Celotech Ruico Acrylic Copolymer Emulsion?
Our acrylic copolymer emulsions deliver high performance supported by technical data.

All of our grades have strong mechanical stability (PASS at 2800 rpm/1h) and long-term storage stability. With low risk of coagulation or phase separation, they are ideal for industrial-scale production.

Our emulsions show good Ca ion stability (5% CaClâ‚‚ PASS) and excellent resistance to water and alkali. They are well-suited for cement-based and alkaline conditions, such as mortars and waterproofing systems.

Our acrylic emulsion covers a wide PVC range from 40% to 70%. Whether for low-PVC high-end coatings or high-PVC economical systems, they can be used in exterior paints, interior paints, and general architectural coatings.

Celotech Ruico acrylic copolymer emulsions are compatible with pigments, fillers, and common coating additives. You can get greater flexibility and stability in coating design and production.

With a particle size range of 0.12~0.2 μm, our acrylic latex can provide uniform dispersion and smooth film formation. The well-controlled particle size improves coating levelling, adhesion, and overall film performance.

We provide APEO-free and low-VOC emulsions to meet the modern environmental standards of the EU, the US and other markets. Our products are designed to support sustainable and green building material formulations.
Acrylic Copolymer Emulsion Applications
Celotech Ruico acrylic copolymer emulsion portfolio covers a full range of architectural applications.

Exterior wall coatings are exposed to UV radiation, rain erosion, and temperature fluctuations. They often lead to coating fading, cracking, and surface degradation over time.
We offer excellent acrylic copolymer emulsions for exterior coating application, enhancing the durability and performance under harsh weather:
- Improve weather and UV resistance
- Enhance colour retention and surface durability
- Strengthen film integrity under outdoor exposure

Issues such as poor scrub resistance, uneven film formation, and limited compatibility with high PVC formulations are common in interior wall coatings.
Our acrylic copolymer emulsions are designed to stabilise the interior coating system from the following aspects:
- Improve washability and scrub resistance
- Enhance pigment and filler compatibility
- Ensure smooth film formation and leveling

Cement-based waterproofing systems are prone to cracking and water penetration. And under long-term stress, the adhesion to mineral substrates is weak.
Our acrylic copolymer emulsions can build a flexible polymer network within the cement matrix.
- Enhance adhesion to cement and concrete
- Improve crack-bridging and flexibility
- Reduce water absorption and leakage risk

Without proper priming, porous substrates often lead to poor adhesion, uneven absorption, and efflorescence issues in topcoats.
Our acrylic copolymer emulsions strengthen the interface between substrate and coating layers.
- Improve substrate sealing and penetration
- Enhance adhesion of topcoats
- Reduce efflorescence and surface defects

Stone paint and textured coatings often suffer from poor shear stability, filler instability, and inconsistent film formation.
Our acrylic copolymer emulsion is engineered to stabilize high-solid and mineral-filled systems.
- Improve shear stability during production
- Enhance compatibility with mineral fillers
- Prevent water whitening and surface defects
Celotech Ruico - Full Application Portfolio
You can see the above applications, from exterior paints and waterproofing to primers, elastomeric coatings, and stone-effect systems, we provide a comprehensive product matrix designed to meet diverse formulation needs. All these are because we have a strong R&D team and continuous formulation development capability. And different from ordinary chemical suppliers, we do not focus on single additives, but on building a complete acrylic copolymer emulsion system covering the full spectrum of architectural coating applications.

Celotech Ruico - Practical Focused Performance
Considering the country differences in construction environments, climate conditions, and raw material systems, we focus on real performance. Our styrene acrylic, pure acrylic, SBR latex and other emulsions are designed with high mechanical, storage, and chemical stability. They provide reliable compatibility with pigments, fillers, and cement systems, while maintaining consistent performance in complex and demanding application scenarios.

Quick Q&A
Yes, you can. Celotech Ruico acrylic copolymer emulsions have good shear stability during high-speed dispersion.
It depends on the formulation and MFFT requirement. Our acrylic emulsions are designed to support efficient film formation, it can reduce the use of coalescents or eliminate the addition.
Yes, our acrylic emulsions can provide good intercoat adhesion and film continuity in primer, mid-coat, and topcoat formulations.
There may be a slight foam during high-speed mixing. But generally not a big issue, can be easily controlled with a suitable defoamer agent.
Styrene acrylic emulsions are more cost-effective and have general durability. In contrast, pure acrylic emulsions provide better UV resistance, colour retention, and long-term weatherability for high-end exterior coatings.
