FAQ About RT8603 Pure Acrylic Emulsion
Yes, you can get sample of RT8603, or you can try to contact with our expert for customized formulation.
MFFT (Minimum Film Forming Temperature) is the lowest temperature at which an emulsion can form a continuous film (seamless and crack-free). If the temperature is under the special number, the particles cannot fuse together to form a film after the water evaporates, resulting in a discontinuous or powdery film layer.
You can compare the emulsion MFFT (℃) with the minimum application temperature:
It is generally safer to maintain an MFFT lower than the minimum application temperature approximately 5–10℃.
You can choose a lower MFFT emulsion for low-temperature environments such as exterior walls.
If the products with a medium to high MFFT, then it is suitable for high-performance coatings (high hardness/fast drying).
