Product Grade
Also known as “hydrophobic modified polyacrylamide salt polymer dispersant”, it does not contain volatile organic compounds (VOC) or alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ethers (APEO).
Core Performance of Ammonium Polyacrylate Dispersant

It will quickly adhere to the surfaces of pigments and fillers, forming strong electrostatic attraction and steric hindrance, preventing agglomeration, significantly shortening grinding time, and reducing slurry viscosity.

Uniformly disperses pigment particles to boost tinting strength and gloss. Gloss improvement can reach 10–30 units, colors are brighter and more consistent, effectively eliminating floating color and flooding.

Effectively inhibits sedimentation, coarsening and hard caking during long-term storage. Coatings remain stable for more than 6 months without stratification or thickening, ensuring consistent formula performance.

Highly compatible with water-based emulsions, additives, and pigment and filler, without affecting key indicators such as film formation, adhesion, water resistance, and salt spray resistance.

Low VOC, no APEO, low odor, less foam during grinding, does not affect the construction appearance, and meets the requirements of high-performance coatings.

With the same dispersion effect, the addition amount is lower, improving the formula cost performance, without increasing additional costs.
Ammonium Polyacrylate Dispersant Applications

Ammonium polyacrylate dispersant can significantly improve the dispersion efficiency of various pigments and fillers such as titanium dioxide, heavy calcium carbonate, and talc, making the color distribution of the paints more uniform and the colors purer. It effectively solves the common problems of color floating, mottling, and streaking in interior and exterior wall paints.

Ammonium polyacrylate dispersant is suitable for various industrial coatings (such as water-based anti-corrosive paints, wood finishes, plastic coatings, automotive paints, etc.). This product enhances film gloss and surface smoothness while preventing issues such as hazing and dullness.

It has a strong dispersing ability for both organic and inorganic pigments of ammonium polyacrylate dispersant. During the grinding process, it has a lower viscosity and takes less time. The resulting color paste has fine and uniform particles. It can significantly enhance the coloring power and color dispersion effect.
Packaging and Storage
Packaging: Two standard packaging options are 30/200 kilograms plastic drums. We can also customize other packaging methods according to your requirements.
Storage: Ammonium polyacrylate dispersant should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment, with the storage temperature maintained between 5°C and
35°C.

Quick FAQs for Ammonium Polyacrylate Dispersants:
At normal addition levels, it does not affect water resistance; issues such as whitening or blistering will not occur.
Yes, its excellent dispersion ability helps reduce the viscosity of the system. However, the dosage needs to be adjusted appropriately based on the target viscosity of the system.
The tendency to bubble is relatively low by itself. However, during high-speed dispersion, it is still recommended to use a defoamer in conjunction.
Low temperature may affect the fluidity, but it does not affect the dispersion mechanism. It is recommended to premix at a normal temperature for the best results.
Yes, it can be used to improve particle dispersion and construction performance, but it is necessary to note that it requires compatibility with systems with higher alkalinity.
