RT910S polyether-based defoamer is a concentrated polyether siloxane solution containing gas-phase silica, recommended for the grinding stage. It is versatile and effective in eliminating both large and micro bubbles.

RT910S polyether defoaming agent is excellent in high-pigment or high-filler formulations, especially during dispersing and grinding. It can suppress both microbubbles and bigger foam effectively even in systems with high TiO₂, calcium carbonate, or other solid contents.
RT910S defoamer is mainly designed for the grinding stage. Generally, you can just use this polyether defoamer alone if no surface defects appear during let-down or application. But if your system has higher requirements on gloss, sensitivity or application methods, mixing with other defoamers for the best result is recommended.
Yes, the defoamer suggested dosage is 0.1-1.0%, please try it and adjust later based on the defoaming performance and surface appearance if needed. Proper dispersion under high shear and formulation test is necessary for the best balance between defoaming efficiency and coating quality.
Because our defoaming agent RT910S contains hydrophobic silica, it can perform best under high shear conditions. Adding it during grinding helps the defoaming components disperse more effectively throughout the system, improving the efficiency of eliminating both macrofoam and microfoam. Post-addition may not provide sufficient dispersion for optimal performance.
