Method of Use
The recommended addition level is 0.05-5.0%. After dilution, it should be added slowly during the stirring process and dispersed at high speed. We suggest adding before emulsion application to achieve high gloss performance. The additive amount should be adjusted according to the requirements of the final product.
Compatibility
RT7105A has good compatibility with cellulose thickeners and alkali-swelling thickeners in the coating system, and can be freely combined with cellulose thickeners and alkali-swelling thickeners.
RT7105A can be used as a thickener alone or combined with other thickeners to achieve excellent flowability.

FAQ About RT7105A PU Rheology Agent
RT7105A has excellent film formation and leveling, so it can ensure a smooth and uniform coating surface. This reduces light scattering and keeps the film clear, preventing haze.
RT7105A is compatible with standard spray application parameters and generally requires no significant adjustment. But slight optimization may be beneficial depending on the formulation. Proper atomization should be maintained to ensure a uniform film and optimal leveling performance.
The optimal mixing ratio depends on your formulation. We can assist you in conducting formulation-specific testing to achieve the desired balance between viscosity stability and leveling performance.
Yes. PU Rheology Agent RT7105A is compatible with Cellulose Ether, such as HEC and HPMC. It can be used together to balance low-shear viscosity, flow, and leveling, and often shows synergistic thickening.
Yes. Pu Agent RT7105A can build viscosity even in low binder systems, but the thickening efficiency may be lower. We recommend that you adjust the dosage or combination with a cellulose thickener.
