What is an Anionic Dispersant?
An anionic dispersant, as a type of dispersing agent, is a negatively charged polymer additive to improve pigment wetting and dispersion. Anionic dispersants work through electrostatic repulsion in water-based systems. Celotech Ruico is a leading anionic dispersant supplier, committed to developing and producing high-quality dispersant agents.
- Strong electrostatic stabilisation
- Excellent pigment wetting property
- Reduced grinding time
- Superior long-term stability
- Broad compatibility in waterborne systems

Anionic Dispersant Grades
Celotech Ruico teams have designed a series of excellent anionic dispersants for you to choose from.
A phenyl ammonium salt dispersant for universal usage. With good grinding effect and excellent water resistance, it suits the water-based acrylic coating system, multi-color, etc.
A 35% high molecular polymer that has excellent dispersibility of organic pigments, especially suitable for resin-containing grinding formulas, used for water-based coatings and printing inks.
A 25-30% ammonium polyacrylate dispersant with good water resistance, strong dispersibility, low grinding and foaming properties, and good color development, ideal for high-performance building coatings.
A 41-43% sodium polyacrylate dispersant that is extremely effective for inorganic pigments, has high dispersion efficiency, good formula reproducibility, recommended for various water-based industrial paints and pigment concentrates.
Why Celotech Ruico Anionic Dispersant Stand Out?
We focus on delivering reliable non-ionic wetting agent solutions to help you achieve optimal coating performance with the following product advantages.

Our anionic dispersants can show strong compatibility with both organic and inorganic pigments, ensuring stable dispersion across different coating systems.

The dosage of anionic dispersants is relatively low (typically 0.5%–30% on pigment weight, depending on system) and can provide cost-efficient performance.

Our anionic dispersants are designed with the long-term stability of pigment systems, which can reduce sedimentation, phase separation, and viscosity fluctuation during storage.

Celotech Ruico anionic dispersant agents are designed strictly with international environmental compliance. VOC-free, APEO-free, suitable for modern water-based systems.
Applications of Anionic Dispersant
Celotech Ruico anionic dispersants are widely used in paints, coatings, inks, papermaking and other sectors.

We have developed high-quality anionic dispersing agents for water-based paints. They can improve pigment wetting, reduce grinding viscosity, and enhance dispersion efficiency. Stabilizing inorganic fillers such as calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, and talc, our dispersants are good for uniform color development and long-term storage. Whether you are used to architectural coatings, industrial coatings, or waterborne formulations, you can get improved gloss, hiding power, and long-term performance with them.

Celotech Ruico anionic dispersants can be used in architectural coatings, industrial coatings, primers, and other coating systems. They provide reliable pigment and filler stabilization, suitable for dispersing inorganic pigments, extenders, and carbon black. The anionic dispersants not only make the color uniform but also extend the storage life. Particularly when used as a dispersant for carbon black, our dispersants can help you enhance jetness, reduce viscosity, and prevent flocculation in waterborne coating formulations.

With fast pigment wetting and strong dispersion stability, Celotech Ruico anionic dispersants are ideal for water-based printing inks. They can disperse organic pigments, carbon black, and TiOâ‚‚ effectively to strengthen the color and uniformize the print. We have designed high-quality anionic dispersing agents for flexographic inks, gravure inks, and packaging inks. They can help you reduce viscosity while enhancing gloss and rub resistance in your ink systems.

We also designed Anionic dispersant grade for papermaking, improving pigment dispersion and coating uniformity in paper coating formulations. The polymer dispersant can make calcium carbonate, clay, and titanium dioxide slurries stable. Using it in paper manufacturing, you can get smooth coating layers and good paper surface quality. Suitable for coated paper, paperboard, and specialty paper applications, they are also able to enhance solids content, reduce viscosity, and improve coating runnability.
Packaging and Storage
Our anionic dispersants are usually packed in 30 kgs and 200 kgs plastic drums, and also support customized packaging.
We suggest you store our anionic dispersants in a cool and dry warehouse with a temperature controlled around 5~35 °C. Keep them sealed tightly before use, and the validity period is 12 months.
