Systematic Quality Control
At CelotechRuico, we regard quality control as a system engineering throughout the entire process, rather than a single-link inspection. Our products are widely used in construction coatings, industrial paints and cement slurry systems. These application scenarios have strict requirements on the stability of additive performance.
Therefore, we have established a comprehensive quality control system from raw materials and production processes through finished product testing and application verification, ensuring that each batch of products has stable, consistent performance.

Raw Material Control
Quality starts from the source
Strict supplier verification: We conduct rigorous qualification reviews of key raw materials (such as acrylic monomers, emulsifier series, cellulose ethers, etc.) and preferentially select suppliers that hold ISO 9001 certification and can provide batch qualification certificates (COAs).
Incoming material inspection: A mandatory inspection index database will be established for incoming raw materials. For example, the purity and initiator content of emulsion monomers need to be tested, and the viscosity, pH value, and solid content of additives need to be tested to ensure consistency with standard samples, preventing fluctuations in raw materials from causing subsequent formulas to fail.
IProduction Process Quality Control
During production, we shift our quality control focus from post-production inspection to pre-production prevention and process monitoring. Key process parameters, such as temperature, pressure, stirring speed, and dropping rate, are recorded and monitored in real time via a DCS central control system.
For example, temperature fluctuations during emulsion polymerization directly affect the glass transition temperature (Tg) and particle size distribution. We introduce online viscometers and pH monitors to adjust for fluctuations in non-Newtonian fluids in real time, avoiding batch deviations.
Before each batch of production, equipment is cleaned for verification, and semi-finished products are periodically sampled during production to rapidly verify solid content, appearance, etc.

Laboratory Capabilities and Finished Product Testing
Our laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation—including Brockfield viscometers, rotational rheometers, laser particle size analyzers, surface tensiometers, and high-speed dispersers—that allow us to simulate actual customer paint or cement paste systems and evaluate product performance under actual application conditions.
For each additive, we carry out the following specific tests:

We test viscosity and water retention to ensure a smooth application process and prevent delamination and settling.

We evaluate defoaming performance and foam decay rates to ensure a smooth, consistent application process.

We evaluate surface tension reduction and dispersion effectiveness to ensure even pigment distribution and a smooth coating.

We evaluate wetting and penetration properties to ensure good adhesion to the substrate.
Application Validation
We focus not only on laboratory data but also on the performance of our products in real-world applications. All additives undergo leveling, anti-sagging, dispersion stability, and workability validation in construction, industrial, and cementitious slurry systems.
For example, we test the water retention and workability of thickeners in cement mortar to ensure consistent field performance. Through these application validations, we can identify potential problems early and optimize formulations based on actual results, ensuring that every batch meets customer needs.

Quality Accreditation and Continuous Improvement
To date, our investment in quality management and technological innovation has received numerous authoritative recognitions, including being rated as a national-level professional innovation “little giant” enterprise, a national-level high-tech enterprise, a national-level CNAS-certified laboratory, and a national-level green factory.
These achievements not only demonstrate the strength of Celotech’s Ruico factory but also reflect our long-term determination to prioritize quality in our development. At the same time, through customer feedback, data analysis and continuous R&D investment, we have been continuously optimizing product performance and production processes, making quality control a continuous improvement process.
