RT2020 is a non-ionic polyurethane leveling agent designed for high-gloss low-PVC systems. It can improve the water-based coatings with excellent leveling performance, high gloss, and superior film hardness and fullness.

Usage Guidelines
The recommended dosage of RT2020 is 0.1-1.0%, which should be added slowly during the stirring process and dispersed at high speed. It is suggested to add this additive before emulsion formulation to achieve high gloss performance. The dosage should be appropriately adjusted according to the viscosity requirements of the product.
Compatibility
RT2020 demonstrates excellent compatibility with both cellulose-based and alkali-swelling thickeners, allowing for flexible combinations of these two types of thickeners.
RT2020 is not recommended for use as a primary thickener alone. It is more effective as a synergistic thickener to achieve optimal flowability.

RT2020 has low foaming and excellent film-forming, which can indeed reduce foam during formulation and application. But in high-speed processing conditions or special foam-causing formulations, you can add a smaller amount of defoamer to achieve a good finish.
